Preface: Hello,
I'm not sure I'm supposed to post up on here, but it involves a rules change and rules discussions seem to take place on the forum. If this is inappropriate, please take it down.
Idea: Right now for marking treated wounds we use two types of cloth strips, one bloodied, one clean.
I think it would be easier and look better if we show the severity of wounds not with cloth strips but by the presence or absence of "bloody" gauze pads.
In reality for a light wound, you might just wrap it, but for something bleeding to any decent extent, you put a bandage on it and then wrap it. I was thinking gauze pads because I found that gauze is pretty cheap and folding it over several times to make a pad is easy, but really it could be done with any decorum cloth. I think managing two different types of cloth strips is more difficult than managing cloth strips and "bloody" bandages as well as it would look more realistic.
I'd love to know what other people think.

Its seems like a wad of gauze might easily dislodge in combat or be hidden from view depending on where it goes. A big part of the current bloody prop is so the injury is easily recognized by anyone seeing it. That might be a big issue to address.
