== PLAYER WORKSHOP SPECIFICS ==
1) Workshop "Blocks"
We have 2 scheduled "Blocks" of time for workshop stuff. We are finalizing the schedule and will post it soon, but this will feature some classes, Lore Q&A, open-social, interest focused discussions, etc
Each block will contain 2 scheduled events:
1) A one-hour "entire workshop focused" topic, something important or critical that the focus of all in attendance is needed
2) A two-hour "booth/station" themed time period to allow players to pick and choose topics at their leisure, giving plenty of time for attendees to float between stations, ask questions, or have open time for the optional crafting classes.
2) OPTIONAL: Pot-luck Style Food
We are providing a main dish course "Green Chili with Pork" along with utensils to eat it (no feastware needed). However, players may bring additional food and/or drinks to add to a "pot-luck/buffet" style food table in order to get an additional giveaway ticket for the event. We ask that you bring something that can be shared by a number of people and not just small sample sizes. For example, a large bag of chips, a 12 pack of soda, or a standard cake pan of a baked good would be acceptable portions; a snack bag of chips or a can of soda would not.
3) Prize Giveaways
Everyone coming to the Workshop that bought a membership in November (Basic, Standard, or Premium) AND signed up by the Cut-Off date (November 10th) will get a giveaway ticket for some prizes. The optional pot-luck, detailed above, is a way to get an additional giveaway ticket. We will also be playing "catch up" on some prizes from the last few months as well!
4) Masks Required
Covered above in the safety section as well, All players are REQUIRED to wear masks during this event unless they are eating or drinking. Due to the uptick in county/state Covid-19 transmission and this event being indoors, we are requiring players to be masked when indoors. When outside, players who are fully vaccinated and who pass our symptom checks at Registration may take off their masks.
5) FIRST-COME-FIRST-SERVE: Crafting Classes
There are two crafting classes available, one during each block, that are "first come, first serve" style limited to 10 seats. Both of these classes are being instructed by players in our community who have agree to help others do some crafting.
The first class will be "How to Make Safe & Legal Arrows" and will allow participants to learn the steps to make a Last Hope LARP legal arrow and will take an arrow home with them.
The second class will be "Intro to Leatherworking & Making a Leather Cuff" and will allow participants to learn some basic leatherworking skills, use tools, and create a finished leather cuff to take home with them.
These classes are available for sign-up through PayPal along with your membership options (but they do not require a membership to participate!). They are $5 a person and once we sell 10 seats, they are full!
If there are seats available day-of still, we will announce any availability.
6) OPTIONAL: Sparring & Combat
We can do simple combat training indoors but outright combat cannot take place inside the building. Players are welcome to bring some weapons to move outside and spar/fight. Any players who decide to go outside may be approved to remove their masks since it is outdoors, but must pass symptom checking at check-in first!
7) Sponsor Table: Unmedievable
One of our sponsors, Unmedievable, will be in attendance at this event with various larp items to sell and taking special orders.
8) No Garb or Decorum Requirements
This is an out-of-game workshop and the focus is players, socializing, and teaching skills and sharing knowledge. Players are not required to be in garb or decorum anything, but players may feel free to dress up in garb if they would like!
