So will the meditation be automatic or an extra skill?

Right now it's a separate skill that's class for Cleric. 0 point.

We did a little play testing last night at practice with the proposed new Divine rules. I was running around as a Syndar with 3rd level Arcane, 3rd level Reserves, and Meditate, for a total of 24 mana. The 30 second cast time for Protection gave a very different feel and made me much more cautious about when and where to cast it (if a new team was about to spawn in, it was smarter and safer for me to run away before trying to cast). I mostly stuck to Restoration (formerly Rejuvenate) and lasted for much longer than I thought, considering I had a dagger to defend myself, no shield, and would occasionally find a javelin to throw. When we switched to the Scenario, I didn't get to test out a lot of the new changes, since my team fought together and I pulled people off the line to give them hits back before they got to wounds or they ran off and died before I could take their wounds from them, so I would have to wait to see how it would play out. We were talking about doing one long scenario at practice next week to see the sustained healing power of clerics, as most of mine was burst healing, and I didn't even have to meditate.
Personally, I am cautious about the Transcendent Mediatation being a normal meditation (regaining more mana than can be spent on the ability) and tacking on a minuscule mana cost and an additional minute to completely remove a light wound. To me, that seems overpowered. I imagined an ability like that would require a separate meditation of 10 minutes to remove a light wound for 2 mana, doesn't return mana like a normal meditation, and would allow you to spend extra mana to heal additional wounds based on your level of Meditate, so a cleric with Meditation could spend the 2 mana and 10 minutes to get one light wound back, while someone with Greater Meditation could spend 6 mana and 10 minutes to heal 3 light wounds. I see it as you focusing on either the mana stream OR your physical body, trying to draw the power of your deity into you in one way or the other to replenish your mind or your body. Allowing them to do both simultaneously seems OP to me, compared to the vision we have for clerics, and would draw out the time-debt of healing and maybe make clerics a little more cautious about throwing their spells around.

I like the new set up for Divine Magic. Transcendent Meditation seemed really cool, but pretty high on the power spectrum.

Initial feedback seems very positive with the new divine magic system, but we are going to see about balancing the transcendent meditation.
